Per last nights discussion on the 50,000/10,000 watt AM Radio transmitter proposal for Point Roberts if you would like to voice an opinion the email address is: sbosman@co.whatcom.wa.us
If you plan on submitting a comment you should do it today (Friday, August 16) as this is the last day. Although the email says any submissions received after the 16th will go into the public record for consideration of the final decision, as Ralph said do it now before you forget.

The special event station is only a couple of weeks away. We pretty well have all the pieces of the puzzle put into place. I could use one volunteer to put together a small fact sheet on the barn that we can distribute to all the operators for reference on the day of the event. This should take less then an hour to do. If you can help out please email me. This promises to be a fun event for all members so if you haven’t gotten your name down let me know ASAP. We are listing all the call signs that will be active that day on the website so hams will have an idea of who to look for. Get your name in now. Check the website: http://deltaamateurradio.com/hb/ and if you signed up but don’t see your call sign listed let me know so we can get it added on.

ComFest 2013 is just around the corner. We had confirmation last night that the Lions will be running the food this year. For the first time in ComFest’s history we will be offering a Pancake Breakfast starting around 8:00 am. Thanks to VE7CFF for arranging this. If you need a table to sell some of your old treasures email me and I will get you on the list. gdick@telus.net
