VA7BJC, VA7QLT, VE7CLX and VE7FKY worked the VE7SUN call sign for the Canada Day Contest. Although our score will not win us any prizes we had a fun filled Sunday morning working the contest. The team managed to work 6 provinces, 2 RAC Stations, and many US stations from west to east coast. To show our flag waving is working we worked two other BC Club stations who came back to us knowing who we were. We also worked fellow club member VE7WO. Hopefully we can get more to join the fun next time. We’ll be putting together a team for the free star dstar contest labor day weekend and the RAC winter contest in December.
