Delta Amateur Radio Society will honour Vicki Huntington, VA7VJH, former Independent MLA for Delta South and former Councillor in the Corporation of Delta. Vicki was elected as an Honorary Member of Delta ARS for her ongoing support of amateur radio through participation in the annual Field Day over many years and facilitating the update the RoadSafeBC guide on the “Use of Electronic Devices While Driving” which now includes a new section on two-way radios.
The presentation will be made on Thursday, November 2nd at 7:00 p.m. in the Arctic Meeting Room of the South Delta Recreation Centre, 1720 56 St, Delta.
