Jay VA7CDQ now VA6CDQ says to say hello to everyone. Just as I started this news notes he popped up on the SUN UHF DSTAR repeater. It sounds like he is planting roots in Edmonton. He is looking to buy a house and acreage just outside of Edmonton. Knowing Jay, can an antenna farm be in the future. For those of you who remember his porcupine antenna truck he now has 7 antennas on his vehicle. Only Jay!!!

Please note: The DRATS exercise has been moved to Feb 13 in Tsawwassen. We were not able to book the large room and that is why we have moved it to The cop shop. We should have 3 different stations running that night.

We are still in need of an interested party(s) in looking after the Burger & Brew fund raiser in April/May. John will look after the 50/50 license and Bob is going to head up the prize committee. We need somebody to book book the venue and oversee the event. These fund raisers help to keep our membership dues low.
