Fall Basic Radio Certification Course

Tell all your friends that the next certification course begins in October 19. It is a 6-week in-person course held every Saturday, consisting of 5 weeks of instructions and the final exam at the end. Successful students can leave on November 23 with their new amateur radio call sign, just in time to ask Santa for a new toy.

About Delta Amateur Radio Society

The Delta Amateur Radio Society, located in Delta, British Columbia, provides an outlet for radio amateurs to gather and share their experiences in the hobby. Our meetings are open to the public. We invite all to attend our meetings and learn about the hobby of amateur radio. The Delta Amateur Radio Society, provides the following services (see Details):

  • VHF repeater
  • 2 UHF repeaters(analog and DMR/D-Star)
  • HF Winlink RMS server (ARDOP/VARA)
  • All Star / echolink accessablility
  • D-Rats simplex access
  • Basic and Advanced radio licensing courses

If you have a non-profit event that requires communications, please contact us with a few details and we’ll be in touch.

Meetings start at 7pm and we alternate our meetings between the North Delta Public Safety building, the Emergency Operation Centre and the South Delta Recreation Centre. Check the list of upcoming meetings above for dates and locations.
